ピアニスト : 山季布枝（やまきのぶえ）
ウィーン国立音楽大学卒業後、帰国。日本国内外でリサイタル、トークコンサート、オーケストラとの共演、ピアノデュオ(4手、2台)、室内楽、歌曲伴奏活動を開始。コンサートプロデュース、チャリティーコンサート活動のほか、演奏家の育成にも熱心に取り組み、新型コロナウィルス禍に伴う自粛に対応したリモートワークレッスンも積極的に取り入れている。ウィーン奏法継承者の一人として認められており、その確かな技術に裏打ちされた美しいタッチで奏でられる音は《究極の癒しの音》といわれている。
演奏レパートリーは幅広く、19世紀や20世紀の忘れられた名曲や未発表作品なども発掘し紹介している。様々なジャンルとのコラボレーションのほか、レクチャー活動は「J.S.バッハ鍵盤音楽演奏法」「ピアノ演奏法と指導法」「4手連弾・2台ピアノ演奏法」など幅広い。また音楽療法のセラピストとして日本各地の病院や施設、保育園からの依頼も多い。
自身の手指の骨折やイップス(yips)をみずから克服した経験から、様々な悩みを抱えるミュージシャンたちの復帰へのサポートやリハビリ、また演奏に対するメンタルトレーニングを含む指導のほか、ピアノ学習を断念した人たちのリスタートのための『山季レッスン・メソッド』は大きな注目を集めている。
近年の主な活動 :
2001年スロヴァキアにて「ベートーヴェン・月光ソナタ創作200周年記念演奏会」に招聘され演奏し「R.バロバー賞」を授賞。その演奏はスロバキア国営放送で紹介された。
2009年に開催されたNHK放送博物館でのテーマ別による全8回のトーク・コンサートは全回満席で大好評を博した。
2012年にヤマハミュージックメディアより山季布枝校訂版「バッハ・インヴェンション演奏例実記版」を出版。
2016年から毎年、『NOBUE』のステージネームでロンドンとヨーロッパの主要都市でリサイタルを開催。『美しく響きの豊かな音で様式感に則った演奏』と高く評価されている。
2018年には中国・寧波でも演奏し、北京国際ラジオ放送のインタビューを受け、その演奏と活動に対する姿勢に大きな賛辞を得た。

○Profile: Nobue Yamaki
Ms.Yamaki is a Japanese national living and performing in Japan.
She graduated from the Austria Vienna National Music College. As a student, she performed in concerts. She performed solo piano recitals, a piano duo, two pianos, a rendition of chamber music and she also accompanied a singing solo performance. She played Wiener Waltz in “Evening of Viennese Music”. The Viennese audience greatly admired her music. As a student, she also made her stage debut in Japan.
After graduating from university, she became increasingly popular both domestically here in Japan as well as in many European countries. She had frequent requests to preform duo as well as ensembles and accompaniments.
One of her signature performances “Talk Concert” (performing with comments) has become greatly popular among her fans.
In 2001, she was invited to the Slovak Republic and performed 200th Commemorative Concert of Moonlight Sonata composed by Beethoven.
Her performance was broadcasted live and she was awarded “Rubiza Baloba” by the International Hummel Fund and the Slovak Republic Protecting Cultural Heritage Organization.
She also performed in various concerts throughout the Slovak Republic upon where she donated her purse to the Hummel Fund.
At present she teaches piano at conservatory here in Japan as well as holding lectures and concerts throughout the country. One of the seminar that she is conducting “How to play Bach music“ is very popular here in Japan.
She has been published in many magazines and publications. Her article on J.S.Bach was immensely popular. In 2012 she published the book “Invention” from YAMAHA MUSIC MEDIA CORPORATION. In which she edited “Invention” composed by J.S.Bach and wrote about the interpretation on playing and fingering. It was headed “Message from J.S.Bach”.
Other unique performances that she has given have included “Yamaki Nobue and her pleasant companies” performed at Kioi Hall, “Sound of fantasy” performed at Oji Hall. She often holds charity concerts. After the Great Eastern Japan Earthquake of 2011, She holds charity concerts for donating piano’s to people who are living at the ground zero disaster area.
She has released several CD’s and appeared on internet TV. She continues to share her music as a means of music therapy at hospitals and senior’s homes. Currently she is the Director of the Japan J.N Hummel Association. She is also a full member of the Piano Teacher’s National Association of Japan.
